About Katherine

Creating art has always been a spiritual practice for me, a form of meditation and soul-searching, and a way to feel connected to something larger than myself. I’ve drawn since I was a little girl, taking lessons with local artists in my hometown of Pomfret, Connecticut.

The natural world is the thread running through most of my work, along with the fairytales and myths that shaped me. I love telling stories through visuals, and for me the act of making art has always felt sacred.
