About Katherine
Creating images has always been a source of meditation and soul-searching for me. I have had a practice of making art ever since I was a little girl, taking advantage of lessons with local artists in my hometown of Pomfret, Connecticut.
Over the years I have drawn great inspiration from the spiritual landscape of the natural world which can be seen as a running theme through my work. I;m also heavily influences by fairytales, fall stories and myth. I enjoy the aspect of storytelling through visuals and have illustrated for a few publications. Most recently, In the last two and a half years, I have trained in and created stained glass pieces based on traditional and my own original designs.
